...You know, why do all the mascot legendaries after gen II have to be mad at each other? Groudon and Kyogre was fine, that stuff actually happens, but Dialga and Palkia? What? I'm pretty sure time and space work together and Reshiram and Zekrom was just kinda... eh. I mean, I understand that there was a point there, that you can have BOTH truths and ideals, but goodness, those brothers were pretty durn stupid.

But this is kind of asking for it. You know these two will at some point have been/be/will be at each others throats, the way I understood them as the X and Y chromosomes. This leads to some irony, as I am willing to bet that if they do gender them 100% like I think they will, a la Cresselia, Yveltal is going to be female despite being Y. I dunno, it just looks more effeminate than, y'know, a MALE deer. With a crapton of antlers. What is that? A 16-pointer?

...I'm getting off track.

Besides, Xerneas sounds more manly than Yveltal.

Anyway, I'm really loving how this turned out; it's just so close to what I wanted! ^^
If you'd like either of them individually, I can easily take this apart with them individually, transparent, or with background. Feel free to use it, just give me credit!

i think xerneas will be a female or male but what i think aout yveltal will be most likely female as of my oc because its better :icondealwithitplz:

I doubt they´ll have genders,since they´re mascots and that´s never happened,as far as I recall. Then again,it could be an interesting change I think I´d like that.
I agree with the notion that Yveltal should be female and Xerneas male if that happens.

Thanks a bunch! I figure that the games are taking such new approaches that gendered mascot legendaries might be possible. If not I'm not going to be devastated though.
