Spearminting

I've been really lazy lately... sorry about that, everyone.
And so I was experimenting today.

God, I really need to do some spriting.
*punts self*

Driving too... don't want to get rusty. I was pretty PO'd today because my dad decided he wanted to drive to church when I actually need experience ice-driving, not to mention there goes a perfectly good half hour. Oh, I could punch something just thinking about it. :/

In other news, I got some more fishies for my tank as well as some plants. Hoo boy the right side of my tank looks NICE! Planting one of my floating plants also helped a lot. I love those lead weights you get with plants, they're too handy.
My mom also took it upon herself to buy a nano aquarium... I can't wait to see it full of coral and stuff and I'm incredibly jealous of the LED moonlights it has. I'll keep telling her to get new live rock and live sand (We have black sand now and though it's cool it's very annoying and none too good health wise. The live rock we have now is disgusting and refuses to grow anything but slime. She also seems to think that she can just dump everything in the new tank, and I tell her that you can't do that, so I hope she gets the rock and sand so she has to. XD

Anyway, this drawing came about because I ralized that I;d never used contrasting colors to shade... This tiny lightbulb went off in my head and so then this exists now. You also should sort of recognize the style as I'm still playing around with it.

I'm happy with it.

Also, I played through Professor Layton and the Last Specter, and I must say: BAAAWWWWWWWWWW! Not anywhere near as bad as Unwound Future (that hast to be the most heart wrenching game in existence) but I still cried. But really, it's an awesome game, and not to mention Loosha is ADORABLE. Not that I didn't already know that. XD
