A pure-flying snake. Flying snakes you say? Isn't that a bit... unorthodox you say? And to this I say, "YES!" and I flip down my goggles and jump onto my dirigible and fly into the sky.
I don't know, my mind just pulled me in a flying snake direction. And then it sprouted wings. And then became a caduceus.
Panaspea float through the clouds, remaining largely unseen until they descend to heal the ill. It is said that Panaspea can heal even the terminally ill with just a touch from their staff and they are thought to be responsible for having kept the plague at bay in Cajiro. Pure-hearted trainers who own Panaspea may find themselves and those around them particularly immune to sickness, and they are popularly employed in Pokecenters throughout Cajiro for their abilities. Panaspea without staffs often pair up with those that do have them, though it is unknown what causes some Panaspea to have a staff while others do not. Stolen staffs do not have their usual properties, leading to the theory that they act as a channel of Panaspea's powers. They are generally very peaceable and get along well with nearly any other pokemon. They are highly revered even in modern times and in the past were worshipped as deities in areas including southwestern Cajiro and beyond.
