You Can Move a Mountain

My main computer is undergoing a SLOW hard drive copy, so I hooked everything up to work on our laptop. Thank God for this laptop, I'd be dead right now otherwise.

As a matter of fact, yes, yes I am aware that this does not look overly pokemon-like. Trust me, though. It makes more sense when you see its pre-evos. I reckon that this would be one of those late bloomer pokemon, like level to 50 to get this thing.

And what is this thing? It's Tectoise, revamped! I was inspired when I stumbled upon a cool way to do legs. I don't know what possessed me to draw/ redesign Turtop and Company, but it may have to do with my stalagmite/ stalactite fake, whose design I am mostly pleased with.

SO! (Oh, and I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.)

Tectoise was revered as a god of the earth in ancient times as they were and are very rare to encounter in the wild. The rock spikes on their head are a testament to their leadership over themselves and other earth based pokemon. They are capable of leveling mountains much like Tyranitar are famed for doing, and when these two pokemon clash, often entire chains of large mountains are sculpted. They have seen many days, leaving once majestic mountains on their shells weathered to gentle hills. They are typically very peaceful pokemon, though they are very adamant about being left alone in their natural habitat. Their hard blue hide can become as tough as diamonds.
